We don’t know about you, but we LOVED the grilled chicken from the little mobile rotisseries that used to be everywhere in Czechia in the 1990s. That unforgettable, unmistakable smell, the greasy bag, the marinade that stained your fingers orange… At KRO Vinohrady, we’ve transformed this childhood chicken nostalgia into a version with zero compromises and maximum flavour: with quality birds from the Druhaz Farm that we marinate overnight in our own umami spice mixture based on fermented onions, hot peppers and herbs, then slow-roasted in our modern rotisserie.
We then use these juicy birds in our signature combos, Caesar salad or revisited versions of the classics that we all grew up with, like chicken in paprika sauce. And when you feel like neither wing nor thigh will cut it, you can always get our popular tartare, beef rib with gherkins, our creative veggie dishes packed with all five (and more) flavours, or our weekly specials.
Our new space on Jiřího z Poděbrad square seats up to 50 – now with the option to book your table. KRO Vinohrady 2.0 brings a wider range of KRO deli products, a bigger selection of natural wines from Alma Wines, and in season, a terrace with views of the square and the iconic Plečnik church.
