Combining a café, bakery and bistro, KRO Vršovice is a place where you can recharge at any moment of the day. The espresso bar serves our own pastries and sourdough bread, freshly baked at KRO Bakery in Libeň. You can also enjoy breakfast on the spot (until 3 pm on weekends, because don’t we all love brunch?)—we serve home-made granola or lush porridges for the sweet teeth, as well as savoury comfort food like eggs Benedict and seasonally dressed indulgent sandwiches.

One more reason to keep coming back: our rotisserie chicken! Beloved staple of other KRO places since the beginning, the birds are now spinning in Vršovice as well, for both lunch and dinner. KRO classics like the umami-laden chicken combo or chicken broth, vegan-friendly tempeh or everybody’s favourite junk food aka fried cheese sandwich are joined by weekly updated lunch specials – soup, meat and veg.

Drink-wise, specialty coffee from Doubleshot and other carefully selected European roasteries is a given, followed by natural wines, Vinohrady beer and cocktails. And if you’re looking for a gift or want to take a little piece of KRO home with you, the bistro also sells all the signature KROndiments that are fermented and made right here in Vršovice – indulge in our delicious kimchi, sriracha, cream cheese, miso, salted caramel and more…

The KRO Fermentery

Backstage in our Vršovice bistro, where the bakery used to live, we now create the products that give our dishes their unmistakable flavour and edge. Bread miso and other umami-packed sauces like shoyu, tamari, and garum, aka the secret weapons of Michelin-starred kitchens worldwide; 300 kg of kimchi weekly; our own spice blends; kombucha and dozens of other ferments–all are born here from scratch, dedicated to zero-waste circularity. (Peek under the lid of our ferments in this video.)
