Libeň never smelled this good
The bakery has been one of KRO’s pillars since 2021, when we started our first sourdough culture in Vršovice. Since then, both the KRO family and our bakery’s range have grown so much that our Moskevská premises could no longer keep up—so our sourdough breads and pastries moved to a new home in Libeň. A stone’s throw from Palmovka, we finally have the space our baked goods deserve: 300 m² with a modern proofing room, a bigger and more powerful oven, and plenty of room for lamination and all the other processes needed for the crispy crust, soft crumb, and perfectly flaky croissants.
The art of baking, in plain sight
New address, same philosophy: it all starts with our own sourdough starter and quality flour from long-trusted suppliers. Our whole grain is stone-milled at Krišnův dvůr, wheat flour comes from Pekárek Mill. Butter for our croissants, danishes, and other laminated delights (and boy do we need heaps!) is sourced from Gran Moravia dairy. Thanks to our glass-walled workshop, the entire baking and pastry craft unfolds right before your eyes—watch the crispiest show in town from the outside, or while waiting for your coffee at the café counter.
